    2. I tied both diets together successfully. They are good bedfellows just have to drop some of the processed protein and dairy from keto and your on paleo.

  3. I have never been as effortlessly healthy, energetic and lean as on the paleo diet. Both of my children were strictly paleo for the first few years of their lives (and are still mostly paleo at home) and it wasn’t difficult. Baked chicken with baked sweet potato and broccoli is a paleo meal that takes only 10 minutes of hands on cooking. Scrambled eggs with plantains and fruit is paleo and ready in 15 minutes. It is not hard if you are willing to cook, and children don’t starve without animal crackers and Cheerios. Calcium was really the biggest issue so we all had to supplement.

    1. Not completely. No grains or beans on true paleo. Now I have no problem with beans or grains, but it isn’t what a paleo purist would eat.

    2. @Christopher Guillory EXACTLY. I HAVE G6PD AND CANNOT EAT ANY LEGUMES AT ALL. THIS IS THE MAIN REASON I EAT PALEO AS IT OMITS JUST ABOUT ALL THE FOODS I CANNOT EAT DUE TO G6PD.

  5. essentially: no grains/no complex carbs/no gluten, occasional starch from potatoe, 50% veggies, protein, and 1 serving of healthy fats like nuts/avacado/healthy plant oil (olive/avacado/flax seed). Replace things with: pasta-squash, rice-cauliflower, bread-lettuce leafs, etc.

    1. Why do they say eat low fat with every meal? Why cant I have 3 qvocados in one sitting

    1. YES BEFORE THE ADVENT OF AGRICULTURE. IT IS MEANT TO MIMIC WHAT OUR HUNTER GATHERER ANCESTORS ATE.

  7. I’m doing paleo with the exception of having dairy in small amounts and I am loving it 🙂

  8. Keto all the way!. 85 lbs in 8 months! No blood sugar issues or fogheadedness I used to get from the starchy veggies.

  9. The woman in blue said that she feels there is a lot of rules 😀 What? May be it’s a set up question, doesn’t matter, but it’s just well balanced diet, nothing special. Yes, it’s not pizza for breakfast, cake for lunch and chips for dinner. No, there is no point of trying. You do it or you don’t and you stick to healthy lifestyle for life.

  10. My only issue is the no legumes. Legumes are a common denominator in healthy populations world wide, so I will continue to eat them

    Matt Embry has been eating this way for 22 years thriving.
    Thank God’ to all of our ancestors who came before us.
    Better to begin anywhere than continue eating a standard American diet.

    For most people the basic grocery store is what we all can achieve.
    For anyone wondering there is no legumes eaten.
    No beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils, soybeans, or peanuts.
    Hard shelled nuts only’ Lean meats, red less often, fish.

    Vitamin D3 & K2 are essential. Inexpensive. Pervasively needed.
    They are for Bone and Heart health. If on blood thinners,
    Check with your doctor. Be well’
